As the name suggests, Genifarm is the part of Genifuel Corporation devoted to the growing of aquatic biomass. Growing aquatic species for the production of fuel has many similarities to large-scale agriculture or aquaculture. The essence of the challenge is to
grow the maximum amount of biomass at the lowest
possible cost. At the same time, this must be done
without using premium agricultural land or wasting
scarce water.
Genifarm was formed as a separate part of Genifuel in order to facilitate licensing our aquatic biomass growth and harvesting technology to other parties. In this way, the growth process can be extended broadly either to owners of land and water, or to industrial corporations who wish to use the Genifuel process to remediate carbon dioxide emissions. Genifarm will provide the necessary training and technical support to these growers as part of the licensing arrangements. |
