Facilities

Genifuel Corporation has facilities in the Western United States.

While aquatic biomass can be grown almost anywhere, the optimum growing location depends primarily on climate (warm and humid all year is best), availability of reasonable amounts of water, availability of a large land area which is not used for other purposes, and proximity to infrastructure for transport of energy (either natural gas or electricity).

If the Genifuel process is used to remediate carbon dioxide emissions from industrial processes, including coal-fired electric generation, then our growing facilities will be located near the industrial plant.

Our licensing partner, the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, is located in Richland, WA.  This US Government facility is operated by Battelle for the United States Department of Energy
